Shay Pendray’s love of stitching and desire
to share this versatile and creative art form
with others extends in many directions. Shay
has blended her love of stitching with a highly
successful career. She is a lecturer, designer,
businesswoman and author. Shay has taught at
numerous embroidery and needlepoint guild associations
in the United States and Canada. In addition,
she has conducted over 150 seminars on embroidery
and business.
Shay is the owner of Needle
Arts, Inc. a retail store specializing in needlepoint,
threads, and Japanese Embroidery. Shay has studied
Japanese Embroidery for over 18 years with four
different Sensei and has introduced many students
from around the world to this stitching art
form.

Shay brought her vast knowledge and experience
to public television, appearing as the host
